i've been robbed

so there i was just "enjoying" my memorial day, (stopped at circle k spending an arm and a leg on gas before driving into work for the day.) I went inside to get a drink because... well, i wanted to. i come back outside and guess what is no longer on the backside of my cute little car? the dealer "license plate" / registration?! the VERY FIRST thing that came to my mind was.... (fast forward to 2 min. 23 sec).

margaret took the words right outta my mouth.

then i spent the rest of my day telling everybody i was the victim of a hate crime.
(so what if that's a little dramatic?)

anyway, moral of the story is don't go to circle k on memorial day with a new car.. or you might get robbed. the plus side is i was reminded how much i love dennis the menace and must watch it this weekend.

the end.

(now rewind back to 0:00 and watch the whole video clip.)

last night i had a nightmare.

you know the kind of nightmares where your wholeee body is into it and when you get so scared you quickly wake up and your body is shaking, sweating, and crying (according to the moisture i felt falling from my eyeballs)? that was my night. it was terrible. i sat there in my bed and thought "how could my mind think of such a horrible thing? i hate you, mind." i tried to go back to sleep but the dream kept starting back up. i did not want to finish this dream- a good ending was nowhere in sight and it hurt to think about what was going on in that little head of mine. the first thing that came to my mind was to call someone for comfort. before i knew it i had picked up my phone and was calling andrew. andrew! remember the boy i dated for 6 months but was no longer dating?

he answered a tired "hello?" (it was 3:30 am, mind you.)
“I’m sorry to wake you up. I had theeee worst dream in the whole world and now I’m too scared to sleep.”
“it’s okay, chels. I’ll stay on the phone while you fall asleep.”

And he did just that. All night long.
Never once asking me to talk about my dream.

he's a good egg.

let's be nice kids.

if there is one thing i want my kids to learn, its that being nice is so important. be nice to everyone, regardless of their situation or yours. it makes THE BIGGEST difference.

all i'm sayin is i have come across some not so nice people lately, and their words hurt. it made me look back on my words and actions and how i may have treated people. i plan to be nothing but nice from here forward. nobody likes a mean person. and besides, what does being mean do? nothing. the person being mean can't feel good and the recipient of the mean definitely doesn't feel good!
