so much.

i have sooo much to catch up on. but, i'm sleep deprived. i'll try tomorrow? sundays always seem to work well with blogging :) for now:

i survived!

i survived this week... or at least the hard parts.
all i have left is a final tonight and a final tomorrow morning.
but i've got those in the bag :)

this week was crazy, overwhelming, and stressful... but my roommates and i made it as fun as possible.

Monday: chloe decided to come sleep with me. in my twin sized bed. it was quuuuite the squeeze :) when she came in to sleep she brought her blanket, pillow... and pickles. haha. i'm going to miss her and her crazy self.

Tuesday: we decided we were going to miss each other so much that we were going to see how well she'd fit in my suitcase.

that night, we studied in the library. hardcore studied. studied so hard, that even at 11:30 when the library closed and they kicked us all out... i was still studying while i walked. ;)

Wednesday: our power was out ALL DAY LONG (for construction purposes), so had to find ways to improvise our fun. melanie and i made some s'mores over a candle. they were delishhh :)

and now for today! i cleaaaned all day long (in my jams.. hence why i'm not posting any pictures). and then my bedroommate and i said goodbye. until one of us gets married and we see each other again. sad. (ps. she refused to put her whole face in the picture. punk).

now it's one more final before my faaaaamily comes. yayyayay! so excited. we have a fun few days planned.

finals weeeeeeek!

it's finals time again. that means:
no time for sleep
no time for eating
no time to socialize
no time to relax
no. time.

it's packing time again. that means:
realizing i have way too many clothes
having no room
my apartment in disarray
finding a way to fit everything in suitcases under 50 lbs.

it's clean check time again. that means:
cleaning until the wee hours of the morning
... and still getting charged a cleaning fee


to help me get through the week, i've been putting signs like this up all over the place.

i will survive this week. and with a smile on my face, at that :)

i just got home (4:30 am) and figured i have to be up in only a few hours anyway... might as well stay up!

my neighbors and i dressed up: luna lovegood, nymphadora, lavender, belatrix and me... a hogwarts student. ron? hermoine? ginny? couldn't decide.

 POST POTTER DEPRESSION.

 stopped at wally world (while we waited for all the craziness and traffic to go down) for some donuts and milk... and ate them on the patio set up in the store's entrance. we're so classy.

some days are just plain rough

jam sessions.

my roommate and i love to let off steam. what is our most recent remedy for stress? jam sessions. in our pajamas. on our front lawn. with cute neighbors (and whoever else wants to come :)).

independence day!

Dang, my 4th of July was awesome. 

My day started with a good ol' small town parade. so cute.

 

Then a Snoasis. These are my fav.

  

After the parade, my brother-in-law and myself went to Broulims and picked up all the goods for our BBQ later. We loaded the car with the food, BBQ, blankets, and drinks and picked up Court from work. Then, we were on our way to Idaho Falls. Every year Idaho Falls does a HUGE fireworks show. Huge like... the largest this side of the Mississippi and 5th largest in the whole world. It's awesome. To get a good seat you gotta get there heckkkka early. So, that's just what we did. We set out all of our belongings and waited.

   

Court and I were so ridiculously hot, we put together all our brain power and came up with this little gem...

 

 The fort kept us from burning our skin off. However, I still burnt myself. I got a pretty rad burn around my bangles. Needless to say I haven't taken them off since. I mean, how embarrassing is a bangle/bracelet burn? suuuper embarrassing. but not surprising for a redhead like myself.

Kacie flew in that day too. Brenden picked her up from the airport while Court and I saved spots.

My super cute cousins and their boy toys: Bryana (& Bryana's mission friend - Laura!), Derrick, Lauryn, and Alex met up with us too... for a BBQ and the firework show.

...and that was my Independence Day.

little victories

my favorite things in life are the simple, little things that often go unnoticed. in an effort to recognize these little gems, mike marchetti and i always write 5 or more "little victories" at the end of each of our letters. why not do that on my blog too? here are a few of my "little victories" this week...

1. donated plasma and DIDN'T faint.
2. got awarded a small scholarship for fall semester
3. witnessed a double rainbow

4. purchased my flight home. yay!
5. my nephew lost his first tooth :)
6. letters from mike and jake.
7. sleeping 9 hours last night!!!!
8. having time to watch this week's bachelorette

i have a lovely little life.

My roommate and I played on the tractors/construction equipment behind my apartment, in the dark of night (hence the incredible quality and clarity of the picture).

and lastly, I've been sick. I could really use my mother right now, but since that isn't possible... I've got my pillow pet, water, hand sani, HP dvds, and computer.
